ROCK THE LOCKS 5K RACE                    JUNE 15TH, 2019 – 7PM

Downtown Sault Ste. Marie’s newest event features a 5k race through the
Soo Locks Park and along the St. Mary’s River.  

The race kicks off at Brady Park along the beautiful St. Mary’s River; the course winds its way through the Soo Locks Park, then along historic Water Street; past Sault Ste. Marie’s historic homes; the famous Pullar Stadium; the Kemp Marina; the Museum Ship Valley Camp; the quarter-mile long hydroelectric plant; across the East Portage Avenue Bridge – Sault Ste. Marie’s favorite fishing spot – and back along Portage Avenue under the shadow of the Tower of History, past the beautiful Old Federal Building – and ends again at Brady Park.

Runners will be entertained along the way by local musicians and a live band will end the night at the finish line!
