Great Lakes Arts & Dance (GLAD) is one of the newest businesses in downtown Sault Ste. Marie, and is bringing even more of the arts to downtown Sault Ste. Marie. GLAD’s dance intensive kicks off this week at their 539 Ashmun Street location. Gregory George, Artistic Director for Children’s Ballet Theatre of Michigan, will be teaching classes during the GLAD Dance Camp Intensive Aug. 1 9-22. Mr. George has been the Artistic Director of Children’s Ballet Theatre of Michigan for 1 6 seasons. Also teaching the Dance Camp will be Dianna George, owner of Great Lakes Arts & Dance and the Artistic Director of Northern Lights Dance Theatre. Her classes will consist of Dance History, musicality, acting, vocabulary, foot care, body alignment, related dance careers, nutrition, and dance in film.
