Downtown Sault Ste. Marie’s Annual Oktoberfest will take place September 29, 2018, kicking off with the War Memorial Hospital Sault International Festival of Races’ followed by Art & Craft Vendors, food, live music, dancing, kid’s activities, and the return of the Alpha Bar Beer Garden and Gym 906 Beer Olympics on Portage Avenue!
Event Schedule
7:15 AM – 11 AM: 2018 WMH Sault International Festival of Races. Cheer on racers of all paces as they cross the finish line downtown!
8 AM – 11: 30 AM: 1668 Winery & Lockside Brewery Annual Kegs & Eggs breakfast. For $6 get your fill of eggs, sausage, potatoes, and a beer.
10 AM – 5 PM: Arts and Craft vendors, kid’s bounce house and face painting
10 AM- 5 PM: Northwind Farm Pick Your Own Pumpkin Patch. Pumpkins ranging from .50-$8.00. Gourds, cornstalks and acorn squash also onsite
11 AM – 3 PM: Entertainment of Chet Mitchell, Comedy Juggler and Human Statue
11 AM: Outdoor food from The Palace Mexican Restaurant and Saloon, The Ramada Plaza Ojibway Hotel, and The Alpha Bar
1 PM- 5PM: Live music and dance performances! The Cooper Dental Sound Stage presents: Judy and Her Suchey Brothers Polka Band with special performances from students from The Academy of Performing Arts and appearances from Wolfshager Hexenbrut Dancing Witches of Sault Ste. Marie!
5 PM – ? : Alpha Bar Beer Garden featuring: Gym 906 Beer Olympics, stein hoisting competition and DJ entertainment.
